Gig of the Fortnight: Klaxons

November 22nd – Tripod – €25/€27.50

2006 saw the birth of nu-rave, with Klaxons splashing onto the scene like a newly-burst glow stick. They displayed a sound so unique and innovative that their debut album Myths of the Near Future earned them the Mercury Music Prize. Now, the London-based band are bringing their live show to Dublin’s Tripod on November 22nd in support of their long-awaited sophomore album Surfing the Void. Electro keyboards married with edgy guitar is promised, so why not get your (nu) rave on?
