ON Thursday the 20th of October it was a typically quiet autumnal evening on Drury Street in Dublin when a thudding bass and glowing lights emerged from the quintessentially quirky Om Diva boutique. Launching their latest collection, Om Diva did it in the best way – with a party. Celebrating home-grown talent with an array of up and coming Irish designers, a selection of undeniably chic contemporary pieces and a hidden world of vintage gems, Om Diva caters for all fashionistas, from any and all walks of life

Om Diva, situated in the heart of Dublin’s Creative Quarter, houses three floors of carefully curated selections of clothing. The top floor, known as Atelier 27, is home exclusively to Irish designers showcasing a range of cutting edge designs. Each collection is wonderfully unique to its designer, ranging from the stunningly ethereal pieces of Dolly Delinquent to the dark and futuristic Colin Horgan.

The customer is spoilt for choice amongst the sea of clothing and diverse range of accessories. Housed in this boutique are the wonderfully wacky pieces by Morganna Murphy alongside Lisa McCormack’s elegant Capulet and Montague collection. Between the infinite range of clothes and accessories this boutique has something for everyone.

Descending into the basement of Om Diva, bursts of colour and patterns submerge the customer into a place of peace, love and all things flower child. There they will find themselves transported back in time amidst the incredible arrangement of vintage clothing. Their vintage range includes a variety of reclaimed dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets and trousers. As there is only one of each, every piece is one-of-a-kind.

Their latest Contemporary collection on the ground floor is just simply cool. Despite the vast mix and match of clothes each rail presents an opportunity for customers to put pieces together and create new and inventive outfits. Simple pieces like t-shirts or skirts are modernised with a clever twist, whether it be an embellishment, an interesting texture or bright and bold colours. They reach the perfect balance of quirky and wearable.
